With half term approaching, you may be on the look out for some new activities or games which don’t dissolve into the (inevitable?) tears of frustration from competitive siblings.
We’ve recently discovered a great collaborative game called Forbidden Island.
Great for all the family, you work together to stop the “island” (which is made up of cards rather than a big board) sinking before you collect treasures as a team and help each other off the island.
We’re also looking forward to trying another collaborative game Pandemic as well as Splendor (not cooperative), both recommended by my eldest’s headmaster!
If, on the other hand, you can cope the competition (!), I also have plenty of suggestions for travel games and board games!
