Sending an iMessage with special effects

Lou Likes: imessage special effects

It was my birthday recently and I was intrigued to receive a text message from an old friend with fireworks when I opened it.  So thanks, old friend, for this tip!

If you are sending an iMessage (afraid I don’t know whether this works on Android):

Type your message as normal, then hold the send button.
This brings up options of giving special effects to either the bubble of the actual message (such as invisible ink or slam), or the whole screen (a love heart, confetti, echo).
The recipient can replay the message with its special effects at any time.

Give it a try for a bit fun!  My son will certainly be impressed when I send him once of these later.
